Paraben-Free: Why Does it Matter?

Last week we introduced our
Paraben-Free Moisturizer.
Paraben-Free.
Why does it matter?
What's a paraben anyway?

Parabens are petroleum-based preservatives.
They're commonly used in cosmetics and personal care items.
Read a shampoo bottle and you'll probably find parabens in the ingredient list:
methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben to name a few.

Thanks to parabens,
your shampoo, lotion and deodorant will last for years.
They're also entering your body when you use these products.
Research has shown that your body may absorb as much as
five pounds of cosmetic chemicals each year.

Check your facial cream and moisturizer labels.
See any parabens there?
When the moisturizer is absorbed into your skin,
so are the parabens.
When the parabens enter your bloodstream,
they mimic estrogen,
sometimes causing hormonal imbalance.
Parabens also commonly cause allergic reactions
and contact dermatitis.

We are delighted to offer you an alternative
to lotions and moisturizers with chemical preservatives.
Try our Paraben-Free Moisturizer!

Paraben-Free Moisturizer
comes in an airless pump container,
so there's absolutely no waste--
no moisturizer left in the bottle to be thrown away!
You'll enjoy every drop of this moisturizer!
